Field of Horrors returns for 2026 after rebuilding from fire — Poughkeepsie Sports news

BRUNSWICK, N.Y. (WNYT)- Field of Horrors reopened for Halloween after a summer rebuilding effort following a fire that destroyed three haunted houses. A July 20 fire destroyed three haunted houses at Field of Horrors. By Sept. 26, visitors were back for a sneak peek just over two months after the fire. Lisa Martin, director of operations at Field of Horrors, said the owners and crew spent the summer rebuilding the attraction. “It was a lot of teamwork, a lot of long late nights, but it was never not an option to do it,” Martin said. “The outpour of support that we got from the community was absolutely amazing and just helped us realize exactly what Field of Horrors means to the community, not just us,” Martin said. Martin said many guests return every year, and some come multiple times because the experience changes from night to night. What can visitors expect? Field of Horrors offers bonfires, food vendors and roaming actors near the fire areas, Martin said. Gues
